The figure belongs to the 6-inch scale and comes in retro blister packaging. The design combines the reptilian appearance of Lizard with recognizable references to his past as a scientist.

Curt Connors attempts to regrow his lost arm using a serum based on reptile DNA. However, his experiment has a profound consequence: he transforms into the monstrous Lizard. This creates an opponent for Spider-Man who represents more than just a physical threat. Behind the transformation stands a human who loses control over himself through his own research, a recurring theme in the stories surrounding the character.

This version is based on the Marvel comics and features articulated joints for various poses. Hasbro includes five accessories: an alternative head, two interchangeable hands, and two laboratory beakers. These allow you to customize the display and highlight Connors' scientific background. The extra head also offers a different look within the same release. The figure can be displayed independently or alongside a Spider-Man from the Marvel Legends line.

For collectors, this Lizard fits into a collection of classic Spider-Man villains. The retro packaging also gives unopened displays a recognizable place among other carded Marvel Legends figures. Those who open the figure can use the accessories for a custom setup around the character. The combination of comic design, interchangeable parts, and laboratory accessories forms the core of this release.

Box Condition: Near Mint

Build-a-figure Wave: none, retro card.

"Poor Peter Parker.
