This copy is the Direct Edition, identifiable by the designation near the barcode on the front cover. The comic has been graded by Certified Guaranty Company as a 9.4 Near Mint and is housed in a transparent CGC holder with a blue Universal Grade label.

The issue contains Crescendo, the fourth and final chapter of the Live and Let Die storyline. Spider-Man and Betty Brant face off against FACADE, an adversary in an armored suit. Their confrontation concludes the story that began in issue 113. Betty plays an active role in the fight, making this issue also suitable for a collection centered around the recurring characters from the Spider-Man comics of the 1990s.

On the cover, Spider-Man leaps above FACADE, with yellow energy flashes around both figures. The orange series title and the announcement of the final chapter make the front cover recognizable within the four-part storyline. For those who collect American editions by variant, the Direct Edition designation on this cover is the distinguishing feature compared to the separately cataloged Newsstand Edition.

For Web of Spider-Man collectors, this issue also marks the end of Alex Saviuk's long continuous period as the series' regular artist. It therefore fits both a collection centered around his work and a complete set of Live and Let Die. The CGC holder keeps the original front cover and the grading label visible for display.

"With great power comes great responsibility."
— Peter Parker / Spider-Man, Web of Spider-Man

Product information:

WARNING!
