This version depicts the older Bruce Wayne during the violent events of the story and is distinguished, among other things, by the included battle-damaged Batman mask.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIn The Dark Knight Returns, an aging Bruce Wayne returns as Batman after years of absence. Gotham City is plagued by crime and the Mutant Gang, eventually leading Bruce to resume the fight. His return, however, is anything but easy, and the physical consequences of his battles are clearly visible.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eMedicom Toy has produced this version of Batman as an approximately 16-centimeter-tall MAFEX action figure. The broad and muscular build follows Frank Miller's characteristic art style and is combined with the familiar gray costume, blue elements, and the large black bat symbol.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eA key feature of this release is the interchangeable battle-damaged masked head, which allows for Batman's battered appearance from the comic to be displayed. In addition, an unmasked Bruce Wayne head is included.
