Damage and Condition of Items and Packaging

At 311collectibles we strive to provide our customers with high quality collectibles that meet collectors expectations. We understand that the condition of the packaging is a crucial factor for many collectors. In order to ensure full transparency, we have the following policy regarding damage and box condition:

1. Assessment of the condition of the box

  • Mint : Items sold as 'mint' are in unopened condition, with minimal to no visible defects in the box.
  • Near Mint : Items in 'near mint' condition are comparable to a rating of 8 or 9 on a scale of 10. There may be some minor imperfections on the box, such as light dents or scratches, but these do not affect the overall presentation. This is clearly communicated in the product description and is priced according to condition.
  • Fair : Items in 'fair' condition show more damage than you would expect from a near mint item, but the damage is not as severe as 'damaged'. This is comparable to a rating of 6 or 7 on a scale of 10. These items may have multiple visible imperfections, such as larger dents, tears, or scuffs. The product description will also show the tag (DMG), which indicates that the packaging is damaged, but the item itself is not. The price has been adjusted accordingly.
  • Damaged : Items with visible damage to the box or packaging fall into the 'damaged' category. This is rated as a 5.5 or lower on a scale of 10. The damage is significant and may include larger dents, cracks or deformations. These damages are recorded using clear images, and the product description includes the designation (DMG). This means that the product itself is not damaged, only the packaging. The price has been adjusted to reflect this condition.
  • Opened : We regularly purchase collections where items have been opened before and sometimes even displayed. These items are checked and often delivered in the original box. If the box has already been opened, we always clearly state this by the tag (OPENED) in the product description. This indicates that the box is not in unopened condition, but that the product itself is usually still in good condition.

2. Photo documentation

For items whose packaging is not in perfect condition, we provide clear photos showing the condition of the box. This allows our customers to make an informed choice before purchasing.

3. Packaging and Protection

To preserve the condition of the items during transport, we use high-quality packaging materials such as protective corners, bubble wrap and sturdy boxes. This way we minimize the risk of damage during shipping.

4. Box Protectors

  • Free 4" Soft Protector : For all of our 4 inch vinyl Funko Pop Figures (regardless of price) we supply a free 4" soft protector as standard. This helps to keep the box in good condition and protect it from minor damage during transport.
  • Other Protectors : All other items are delivered without protectors, unless otherwise stated. For some higher-end Funko items we deliver a hardstack or even armors for free to better protect the packaging. This is always mentioned in the product description, so you know exactly what you receive.

5. Condition of the Article

  • Damage to the Product : All items we sell are undamaged themselves, unless otherwise stated. If there is damage to the product itself, this will always be clearly stated in the product description. The product will also be tagged with (DMG), so that you as a customer know exactly what the situation is. The price is always adjusted to the condition of the product and the packaging.
