Hot Toys brings Steve Rogers and the imposing Hydra Stomper together in this Cosbaby (S) collectible set based on Marvel Studios’ What If...?. The set combines two stylized mini-figures and forms a compact version of one of the most striking alternative stories from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In this alternate reality, it is not Steve Rogers who receives the Super Soldier Serum, but Peggy Carter. Steve remains physically unchanged as a result, but is given a completely different way to fight by Howard Stark: the enormous Hydra Stomper.
Hot Toys has rendered both Steve Rogers and the Hydra Stomper in the recognizable, stylized Cosbaby aesthetic. At approximately 15 cm, the Hydra Stomper is the largest part of the set, while Steve Rogers is about 10 cm tall.
A unique feature of this release is that the Hydra Stomper’s helmet can be opened, allowing the Steve Rogers Cosbaby to be placed inside the armor. Steve also features the signature bobble-head function and an interchangeable arm that allows him to be displayed in a salute pose.
Combining both characters into one interactive set makes COSB882 a more notable release within the Cosbaby line than a regular, single mini-figure.
