This Deluxe Solomon Grundy from DC Collectibles is without a doubt one of the most impressive figures from the Batman: Arkham City series. At a height of no less than 13 inches, approximately 33 cm, he is significantly larger than the regular figures in the series. Among collectors, this Solomon Grundy is considered the holy grail of the Arkham City range for good reason.
Solomon Grundy plays a memorable role in Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham City. Deep beneath the Iceberg Lounge, Batman comes face-to-face with the gigantic and virtually indestructible Grundy. The battle that follows is one of the more well-known boss battles in the game and clearly shows just how enormous and intimidating the character really is.
DC Collectibles has managed to translate that scale perfectly to this Deluxe Action Figure. Grundy features his massive build, damaged skin, chains, and all the recognizable details from the game. Place him next to the regular 7” Arkham City figures and only then does the sheer size of this version become truly clear.
What makes this Solomon Grundy particularly special is that he is quite difficult to find these days. Especially complete copies in good condition do not come along very often. Due to his size, appearance, and rarity, he has grown over the years into one of the most sought-after pieces from the original DC Collectibles Arkham line.
