This massive Deluxe Clayface by DC Collectibles is one of the most impressive releases from the Batman: Arkham City series. Standing at a whopping 13 inches, approximately 33 cm, this is an exceptionally large action figure that clearly stands out from the regular figures in the series in terms of size and weight.
Clayface plays a significant role in Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham City. Without giving away too much of the story, the character has a prominent place in the events surrounding Batman and the Joker. His massive, malleable body and characteristic appearance made Clayface exceptionally well-suited for a large Deluxe release.
DC Collectibles has made full use of this. The figure has a solid build and is full of details based directly on his appearance in the game. Especially when placed next to the regular 7” Arkham City figures, it becomes clear just how impressively large Clayface actually is.
The original packaging is also exceptionally large and heavy because of this. Please note that the box of this specific item has visible wear and tear and therefore cannot be considered case fresh. However, with an older collectible of this size and weight, perfectly pristine packaging is becoming increasingly difficult to find. The weight of the figure and the massive box simply make these Deluxe releases more susceptible to storage and transport wear than a regular action figure.
Despite the signs of wear on the packaging, this remains a special collector's item. Complete boxed examples of these large DC Collectibles Arkham releases are becoming harder to find, and due to his size, Clayface is a real eye-catcher in any Batman: Arkham City collection.
An imposing Deluxe release from the original DC Collectibles series and exactly the kind of figure that shows how ambitious the Arkham line was at the time.
