This Nightwing action figure was released in 2013 by DC Collectibles as part of the Batman: Arkham City Series 4. The figure is directly based on Dick Grayson as he appears in the hit video game Batman: Arkham City by Rocksteady Studios.
Dick Grayson began his career as the first Robin and fought for years as a sidekick alongside Batman. Eventually, Grayson outgrew his role as Robin and developed his own identity as Nightwing. Although he operates independently, he remains an important member of the Bat-Family and one of Bruce Wayne's most trusted allies.
In Batman: Arkham City, Nightwing is available as a playable character and features his own unique combat style. His acrobatic movements are combined with martial arts and his signature Escrima Sticks, making his gameplay distinct from Batman's.
DC Collectibles translated Rocksteady's modern Nightwing design into a detailed action figure in the approximately 7-inch scale. Dick wears his black tactical suit with the striking blue Nightwing emblem running across his chest and shoulders. The figure comes with his characteristic Escrima Sticks.
Nightwing was part of Batman: Arkham City Series 4, along with Batman, Deadshot, and Talia al Ghul. This Series 4 version is the original individual Nightwing release; the character later also appeared in an Arkham City multipack with a modified deco.
