This Talia al Ghul action figure was released in 2013 by DC Collectibles as part of Batman: Arkham City Series 4. The figure is directly based on Talia as she appears in the successful video game Batman: Arkham City by Rocksteady Studios.
Talia al Ghul is the daughter of Ra's al Ghul and one of the most complex characters in the Batman universe. As a high-ranking member of the League of Assassins, she possesses exceptional combat skills, but her relationship with Bruce Wayne frequently leaves her loyalties torn between her father and Batman.
In Batman: Arkham City, Talia plays an important role in the storyline involving Ra's al Ghul, Hugo Strange, and Protocol 10. Her feelings for Bruce ultimately bring her into direct conflict with the plans of her father and The Joker.
DC Collectibles translated the detailed design of Rocksteady Studios into an officially 6.5-inch tall action figure. Talia wears her signature black and red outfit from the video game, complete with detailed boots, gloves, and belt. The figure comes with her sword and scabbard.
Talia al Ghul was part of Batman: Arkham City Series 4, along with Batman, Nightwing, and Deadshot. For collectors of the Arkham series, Talia is particularly interesting as relatively few action figures of this important Batman character have been released.
