This Batman action figure was released in 2015 by DC Collectibles as number 1 in the Batman: Arkham Knight action figure series. The figure is based on the updated design of The Dark Knight from Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham Knight.
In the final chapter of the original Arkham trilogy, Gotham City is threatened by Scarecrow and the mysterious Arkham Knight. As a result, Batman is confronted by a massive alliance of his greatest enemies, while simultaneously trying to uncover who is hiding behind the identity of the Arkham Knight.
For Batman: Arkham Knight, the Batsuit received a major technical upgrade. The new suit combines flexible parts with heavy armor, giving it a much more mechanical appearance than Batman's costumes from Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.
DC Collectibles translated this detailed game design into an action figure approximately 6.75 inches tall. The figure features extensive articulation and reproduces details such as the layered armor, utility belt, long cape, and characteristic cowl from the video game.
Batman appeared as #1 in Series 1 of the Arkham Knight line. The first wave from 2015 also consisted of Arkham Knight #2, Scarecrow #3, and Harley Quinn #4.
