Scarecrow returns in Batman: Arkham Knight as one of Batman's main adversaries. This action figure was released in 2015 by DC Collectibles as part of the first series of figures based on Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham Knight.
Dr. Jonathan Crane, better known as Scarecrow, uses fear as his primary weapon. After his confrontation with Killer Croc in Batman: Arkham Asylum, he returns with a heavily scarred appearance and a massive plan to plunge Gotham City into complete chaos. His new fear toxin poses a direct threat to both Batman and the citizens of Gotham.
DC Collectibles based this version directly on Scarecrow's updated design from the video game. The figure is approximately 6.75 inches tall and features his damaged face, dark clothing, leg brace, various containers of fear toxin, and his characteristic glove with hypodermic needles. The detailed design differs significantly from his earlier Arkham Asylum version, making this iteration instantly recognizable as the Arkham Knight incarnation.
Scarecrow appeared alongside Batman, Harley Quinn, and Arkham Knight in the first wave of the Arkham Knight series. Especially within a complete collection of the original DC Collectibles Arkham lines, he stands as a significant villain from the final chapter of Rocksteady's original Arkham trilogy.
