Bane appears in Batman: Arkham Origins as one of the most dangerous adversaries the young Batman faces. DC Collectibles released this imposing action figure in 2013 as part of Series 1 of the official Batman: Arkham Origins action figure line.
In Batman: Arkham Origins, Bane is one of the assassins who comes to Gotham City on Christmas Eve after a massive bounty is placed on Batman's head. Unlike many of his competitors, Bane does not rely solely on brute force. He is intelligent, strategic, and manages to come dangerously close to discovering Batman's true identity during the events of the game.
DC Collectibles based this version directly on Bane's original appearance from the video game. His massive build, mask, military attire, and Venom system with green tubes are extensively incorporated into the sculpt. Standing approximately 8 inches tall, Bane is also significantly larger and heavier than the regular Batman, Joker, and Black Mask figures from the same series.
That very size makes him a standout part of a complete Arkham Origins display. The figure represents Bane's appearance before his exposure to TN-1 leads to the much larger and more aggressive version that appears later in the game.
