Dynamite Entertainment - ThunderCats #4 (05/2024, Cover C – Declan Shalvey) - CGC 8.5 Universal Grade - Graded Comic Book

This ThunderCats #4 from Dynamite Entertainment was published in May 2024 and has been graded by CGC with a Universal Grade of 8.5. The copy features Variant Cover C by Declan Shalvey, with Mumm-Ra as the central character on the front. The comic is housed in a transparent CGC holder with a blue label, which lists the issue, edition, and assigned grade.

ThunderCats #4 is part of the Dynamite series that began in 2024. Declan Shalvey writes the story and Drew Moss provides the artwork. In this issue, the ThunderCats are under pressure because the Sword of Omens has been broken and discord arises over Calica. Mumm-Ra seizes the situation to attack. For Lion-O, the confrontation forms an important test of his leadership at the end of the first storyline.

Shalvey's cover shows Mumm-Ra in his mummified form, draped in a red cloak. The dark background and cool blue tones emphasize his face, bandages, and outstretched hand. The ThunderCats logo is positioned above the illustration. This Cover C retains the title print and thus constitutes a different edition than the separately published virgin and other special variants of this issue.

For collectors, this copy offers a combination of recognizable ThunderCats cover art and a fixed condition assessment. The transparent holder makes the front and back visible and is suitable for display alongside other graded comics. The assigned 8.5 is the grade of the comic; the plastic outer holder has a separate condition. This edition is especially suitable for a collection centered around Mumm-Ra, the work of Declan Shalvey, or the ThunderCats comics from Dynamite Entertainment.
