This Funko POP! Éowyn #1743 from The Lord of the Rings is the Masked Chase variant, in which she wears her helmet. This piece is signed by Miranda Otto, the actress who portrays Éowyn in the film trilogy. In addition to her signature, the character name and the quote “I am no man!” have been added. An SWAU Certificate of Authenticity is included as the accompanying authentication documentation.
Éowyn is a shieldmaiden of Rohan who refuses to be limited to the role others have defined for her. In The Return of the King, she goes into battle in disguise and faces the Witch-king of Angmar. Her line “I am no man!” belongs to that confrontation and therefore forms a thematic connection between the figure, the signature, and a recognizable moment from her story.
Funko translates her appearance as a warrior into the stylized proportions of the POP! line. The helmet distinguishes this Masked Chase from the regular version without the face-covering helmet. This concerns a confirmed Chase variant, according to the provided product data. The figure is made of vinyl. The signature, character name, and quote add a distinct layer to the original Funko product, with a direct link to Miranda Otto’s performance.
For collectors of signed The Lord of the Rings items, several concrete features come together here: Éowyn as a character, the Masked Chase version, and the combination of signature, character name, and film quote. The SWAU COA is for the authentication of the signature. This version fits into a collection centered on Rohan, the film trilogy, or signed Funko POP! figures of the involved cast.
