This special Funko POP! of Super Shredder #1138 combines Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with original work by none other than TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman. This is not just a signed Funko POP!: the packaging has been embellished by Eastman with an original hand-drawn illustration and comes with authentication from KevinEastman.com.
Kevin Eastman created Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in 1984 together with Peter Laird. What began as an independent black-and-white comic grew into a global phenomenon featuring comics, animated series, films, video games, and a vast array of collectibles. Eastman's signature drawing style and creative influence are, therefore, literally a part of the origins of TMNT.
Super Shredder is the mutated and extremely powerful form of Shredder, best known from the 1991 film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. Funko translated this imposing version into Super Shredder #1138.
What makes this specific item special is the addition from Kevin Eastman himself. The packaging features an original hand-drawn illustration and his signature. This makes every such item unique and goes beyond a standard signed Funko POP!.
The authenticity is supported by the accompanying Certificate of Authenticity from KevinEastman.com. The combination of Super Shredder, an original Kevin Eastman illustration, his signature, and direct authentication makes this especially interesting for serious TMNT collectors and enthusiasts of original creator-signed memorabilia.
