This Funko POP! Television – Star Trek: The Original Series – Captain Kirk #1136 brings one of the most recognizable characters in science fiction history to your collection, but features a special extra element: the packaging has been personally signed by William Shatner. The signature is authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA).
William Shatner brought Captain James T. Kirk to life in the original Star Trek series starting in 1966, and through this role, he became one of the most famous faces of the franchise. His portrayal of the captain of the USS Enterprise is an essential part of the history of Star Trek and television science fiction.
Funko released Captain Kirk #1136 in 2021 as part of the Star Trek: The Original Series line. The vinyl figure depicts Kirk in his signature yellow Starfleet uniform, sitting in the captain's chair. This is Funko item number 55804 with UPC 889698558044. The release has since reached vaulted status.
The signature by William Shatner makes this item particularly interesting for both Star Trek collectors and collectors of signed Funko POP!s. Thanks to the JSA authentication, the provenance and authenticity of the autograph can be verified.
A beautiful combination of an official Funko release, the original Captain Kirk, and an authentic signature from the actor who made the character world-famous.
