This Sonic the Hedgehog action figure was re-released in 2026 by Good Smile Company as Nendoroid #214. This version is the official 2026 re-release of the popular Sonic Nendoroid that originally appeared in 2012 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
Sonic the Hedgehog is the lightning-fast blue hedgehog and has been one of SEGA's most famous video game characters since the early nineties. With his immense speed, Sonic travels through colorful worlds, collects golden Rings, and takes on his archenemy Dr. Eggman time and time again.
Good Smile Company has translated Sonic's classic look into the signature Nendoroid style. The figure is approximately 10 centimeters tall and features various movable parts. Thanks to the included parts, Sonic can be displayed in his famous running pose, among others.
The set contains various recognizable elements from the Sonic games. In addition to a golden Ring and Chaos Emerald, an Item Box and Point Marker are included. Combined with the various face and posing parts, different scenes from the games can be recreated.
The sculpt was handled by Fumitoshi Nakamura of the GSC 3D Team, with production support from Nendoron. This 2026 version is the fourth official re-release and retains the original Nendoroid number #214.
