This Handmade by Robots Battle Damaged RoboCop #125 combines the recognizable look of RoboCop with the knit aesthetic of the Handmade by Robots line. This vinyl figure was released as an Emerald City Comic Con 2022 Exclusive in a limited edition of 1,000 pieces. This specific item is signed by Peter Weller and comes with an SWAU Certificate of Authenticity, bringing together the convention edition and an autograph from the original RoboCop actor.
In the 1987 film RoboCop, Peter Weller plays police officer Alex Murphy, who is brought back as a cyborg following a violent attack. Behind his metal armor, Murphy continues to struggle with memories of his former life. The Battle Damaged version refers to the character's damaged appearance and gives this stylized figure a clear connection to the film's action and physical nature.
The figure is approximately 5 inches (12.7 cm) tall and made of vinyl. The surface mimics knit stitches and woven yarn, while the material retains a solid form. This texture is combined with RoboCop's helmet, armor, and applied damage details. The compact proportions give the character the signature Handmade by Robots design. The battle damage is part of the design of this variant and does not describe damage to the item offered.
For collectors, three distinct features come together here: the RoboCop character, the ECCC release with a production run of 1,000, and the autograph of Peter Weller. The included SWAU COA provides the necessary authentication documentation for the signature. The edition size refers to the original figure release, not a separate run of 1,000 signed items. This version fits perfectly into both a RoboCop display and a collection of signed movie collectibles.
