Hasbro brings the battle between G.I. Joe and Cobra to a larger scale with this extensive G.I. Joe Classified Series #218 set. Snake Eyes, together with the Varmint ATV, takes on the Stealth Viper and his Cobra Stealth Flight Pod, better known by its classic nickname, the “Trubble Bubble.”
The set includes two fully poseable 6-inch action figures and two vehicles. Snake Eyes is paired with the Varmint ATV, a modernized interpretation of a classic G.I. Joe vehicle. The ATV features, among other things, movable handlebars, a rear rail, winch details, an adjustable cannon, and two missiles.
On the Cobra side, the Stealth Viper stands ready with the Cobra Stealth Flight Pod. This modern Trubble Bubble features a movable cannon, adjustable controls, HUD details, missiles, and an aerial mine with a removable hatch.
The figures themselves are also extensively equipped. Snake Eyes comes with an alternative Steel Corps head, a knife, and various weapons. The Stealth Viper features, among other things, removable goggles, multiple interchangeable hands, and various weapons. In total, the set includes 17 character-inspired accessories, in addition to the parts that make up the two vehicles.
Hasbro presents #218 in a large window-box package in which both the figures and their equipment are visible. The packaging is further adorned with File Card Icons, original character artwork, and digital renders.
By combining two opponents, two vehicles, and an extensive accessory set in one package, #218 forms a complete G.I. Joe versus Cobra display set within the Classified Series.
