Hasbro brings Janet van Dyne to the Marvel Legends Infinite Series with this comic-inspired version of Marvel’s Wasp from the Ultron Build-A-Figure Wave. The figure was released in 2015 as part of the Marvel Legends Ant-Man series.
Janet van Dyne is one of the classic heroes of the Marvel Universe and was one of the original members of the Avengers alongside Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, and Ant-Man, among others. As Wasp, Janet can drastically reduce her body size, fly with her characteristic wings, and fire powerful bio-electric energy blasts known as her “wasp stings.”
This Marvel Legends release is based on Janet van Dyne from Marvel Comics and should not be confused with Hope van Dyne, who later appeared as Wasp in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Hasbro has produced Wasp in the 6-inch Marvel Legends scale, featuring her characteristic black and red costume and transparent wings. Thanks to extensive articulation, the figure can be placed in various flying, combat, and display poses.
Marvel’s Wasp is part of the 2015 Ultron Build-A-Figure Wave. A complete copy also includes the torso of Ultron. By collecting the various figures from this wave, the full Ultron Build-A-Figure could be assembled.
