Hasbro brings Electro from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to the Marvel Legends Infinite Series with this 2014 movie version. The figure was released as part of the Ultimate Green Goblin Build-A-Figure Wave and is based on Jamie Foxx's portrayal of Max Dillon in the second Amazing Spider-Man film.
Max Dillon begins his story as a reclusive Oscorp employee who harbors great admiration for Spider-Man. However, after an accident in which he is exposed to genetically modified electric eels, Dillon undergoes a drastic change. His body develops the ability to absorb, store, and discharge massive amounts of electricity, and thus Electro is born.
Hasbro based this Marvel Legends version on Electro's striking blue appearance from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The translucent blue parts and electrical details give the figure a look very different from the classic green-and-yellow comic version of Electro.
The figure is part of Wave 1 of the 2014 Spider-Man Marvel Legends Infinite Series and is produced in the standard 6-inch Marvel Legends scale with extensive articulation.
A complete, packaged copy also includes the left arm of the Ultimate Green Goblin. By collecting the various figures from this wave, the large Ultimate Green Goblin Build-A-Figure could be assembled.
