Doc Samson joins Hasbro's Marvel Legends collection in a version based on The Incredible Hulk comics. This 2026 release brings the psychiatrist with his trademark green hair to the 6-inch figure line. The figure comes with an interchangeable head and two extra hands, allowing you to customize the display for the scene you want to set. The comic version fits within a collection centered on the Hulk and the characters from his stories.
Doc Samson tried to help the Hulk by draining gamma radiation from his body. When he exposed himself to a small dose, he gained superhuman strength and his striking green hair. His background as a psychiatrist gives him a different position within the Hulk's world than characters who rely solely on brute force. It is precisely this combination of scientific knowledge and physical strength that defines his character.
Hasbro has equipped the figure with more than twenty points of articulation, with a movable head, arms, and legs. This allows you to alternate between a relaxed stance and an action pose. The extra head and interchangeable hands offer additional possibilities to change the look of your display. The packaging features a window, keeping the figure visible even while in the box. The mention of 6 inches refers to the Marvel Legends scale in which this release was designed.
For collectors looking to further expand their Hulk collection, Doc Samson adds a character with a unique role in the comics. The combination of articulation and interchangeable parts makes him suitable for various displays alongside other Marvel Legends figures. Those who keep the packaging can maintain the presentation in the window box. Other figures for a joint display are sold separately.
