Character:
Hasbro brought Hulk to the original Marvel Universe line with this 3.75-inch action figure from Series 1. The figure bears number #013 and was released in 2009 within Wave 2, during the first year of the Marvel Universe series.
Bruce Banner was changed forever after being exposed to a massive amount of gamma radiation during an experiment. When rage and stress take over, the brilliant scientist transforms into the Hulk: a nearly unstoppable combination of strength, endurance, and pure destructive power. As his anger increases, so does his physical strength.
This Series 1 edition depicts Hulk in his classic comic look with green skin and purple pants. Hasbro translated the massive character to the 3.75-inch Marvel Universe line, with the Hulk being clearly larger and broader than the standard human figures from the same series.
Hulk #013 was part of Wave 2 and was released alongside Grey Hulk #014 and Green Goblin #015, among others. The figure itself does not come with separate weapons or other traditional accessories.
Characteristic of the first Marvel Universe Series 1 releases is the Fury Files concept. The original packaging includes a S.H.I.E.L.D. File with a secret code, which clearly distinguishes these early releases from later Marvel Universe series.
