Character: Super Battle Droids, also known as B2-series battle droids, are advanced combat droids used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. They were designed by Baktoid Combat Automata and manufactured on Geonosis.
These droids are bulkier and stronger than the standard B1 battle droids. They have built-in wrist blasters and are equipped with heavy armor that protects their delicate components2. Unlike the B1 droids, Super Battle Droids do not require a command signal to operate, giving them a limited degree of independence.
Super Battle Droids are known for their durability and firepower, making them formidable opponents on the battlefield. However, they have simple processors, which limits their ability to formulate complex strategies.
They first appeared in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and continued to be a significant part of the droid army throughout the Clone Wars.
