Character:
Princess Leia Organa #30 from Hasbro brings the classic appearance from Star Wars: A New Hope to The Black Series. This 2016 action figure belongs to the 6-inch line and comes in the recognizable black and red window packaging, known among collectors as the Red Line. Her white outfit and signature hairstyle are consistent with Leia’s introduction in the original Star Wars film. The number #30 makes this release recognizable within the numbered series.
As Princess of Alderaan and a committed leader of the Rebel Alliance, Leia plays a central role in the resistance against the Galactic Empire. Her mission to get the Death Star plans to the rebels forms a key starting point for A New Hope. This version shows her in the attire associated with her imprisonment aboard the Imperial space station and her encounter with Luke Skywalker and Han Solo.
The figure combines a white fabric dress with a loose belt and multiple points of articulation. This allows you to create both a static display or an action pose. Hasbro supplied this release with a Defender Sporting Blaster Pistol and an E-11 Blaster Rifle. The combination of fabric clothing and interchangeable weapons offers various possibilities for a display with other Black Series characters from the original trilogy.
For collectors building the older Black Series range, the original box design and numbering are particularly relevant. Leia #30 fits alongside the corresponding versions of Luke, Han, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and the Imperial troops. This item originates from a private collection. The packaging is described as Near Mint, with light scratches on the transparent window.
