Hasbro brings two recognizable members of the 501st Legion to The Black Series for the first time with this Clone Trooper Dogma & Clone Trooper Hardcase 2-Pack. Both 6-inch action figures are based on their appearances in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and combine familiar clone armor with the personal markings of both troopers.
Dogma and Hardcase are part of the 501st Legion during the Clone Wars, but they differ significantly in character. Dogma belongs to a new generation of clones and is known for his near-unconditional loyalty to orders and the Republic. Hardcase, by contrast, is more impulsive and feels visibly at home in the middle of battle. Their differing personalities play an important role during the Umbara story arc of The Clone Wars.
Both figures are produced in 6-inch scale and feature multiple points of articulation. Hasbro has paid extra attention to the individual deco: both Dogma and Hardcase have their own armor markings and an unhelmeted head sculpt with the characteristic facial tattoos from the animated series.
Each trooper also comes with a removable Clone Trooper helmet. Dogma features two blasters, while Hardcase is equipped with his heavy rotary laser cannon. In total, the packaging includes two figures and five accessories.
For a Black Series display centered on Captain Rex, the 501st Legion, or the Battle of Umbara, this set fills in two characters that have long been missing from the 6-inch collection.
