Hasbro - Star Wars - The Legacy Collection (Blue) - Beru Whitesun (BD45) - 3.75" Action Figure

This 2009 Hasbro Beru Whitesun (BD45) Action Figure belongs to the blue packaging phase of Star Wars: The Legacy Collection. The version is based on the young Beru from Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and appeared in Wave 7. For this release, Hasbro developed a new sculpt, featuring her recognizable clothing and a matching drink container. The original release also contains the torso of HK-47 for the Build-A-Droid program.

In Attack of the Clones, Beru lives on the Lars family moisture farm on Tatooine. It is there that she meets Anakin Skywalker when he comes looking for his mother, Shmi. At that time, Beru is Owen Lars's girlfriend. They later marry and take on the task of raising Luke Skywalker. This figure therefore depicts her younger appearance from the prequel trilogy, years before Luke grows up with Owen and Beru.

The figure falls within Hasbro’s 3.75-inch scale. Her outfit combines a plastic bodice with a fabric skirt, allowing the different elements of her film costume to be reflected in the design. Articulated joints in the neck, shoulders, elbows, and knees, among others, offer possibilities for different poses. The drink container fits her appearance on the farm; the included droid part is exclusively the torso of HK-47.

For collectors, this Beru is a welcome addition to a display centered on the Lars family, Tatooine, or Attack of the Clones. Together with young Owen Lars, she fits scenes on the moisture farm. For collectors who collect the original Legacy Collection on card or wish to assemble HK-47, the specific BD45 release and the corresponding part are also relevant.
