With this Star Wars: The Black Series 4-Pack, Hasbro brings together a complete collection of droids from The Mandalorian. The set includes R5-D4, BD-72, and two Pit Droids, and was released in 2024 as an exclusive multipack within the 6-inch Black Series line.

R5-D4 is one of the most recognizable astromech droids in the Star Wars universe. The red-and-white R5 unit originally appeared in Star Wars: A New Hope, but returns years later in The Mandalorian. From Peli Motto's hangar on Tatooine, R5 eventually ends up with Din Djarin and plays a role during his journey to Mandalore.

In addition to R5-D4, the set includes BD-72, a small BD unit also found around Peli Motto's hangar. The two Pit Droids complete the foursome. These small maintenance droids are originally known from The Phantom Menace and return within the world of The Mandalorian as part of Peli's colorful collection of helpers.

Hasbro has finished the various droids with their signature colors, mechanical details, and articulated parts. Although the set falls under the 6-inch Black Series line, the actual heights of the droids naturally vary significantly.

By combining four different droids directly in one package, this set makes for an interesting addition to a display centered around Din Djarin, Peli Motto, and Tatooine. At the same time, R5-D4 and the Pit Droids tie in with characters and designs that date back to the original and prequel Star Wars films.
