Deadly Enemies #53 from the 1994 Flair Marvel Annual series brings Sabretooth and Wolverine together on one collector's card. This Fleer release is part of the regular base set and is offered in a GMA slab with a grade of 8.5. The card is therefore a individually graded item from a 1990s Marvel card collection.
The rivalry between Wolverine and Sabretooth is the subject of this card. Both characters are connected to Marvel's X-Men stories and are known for their fierce confrontations. The title Deadly Enemies emphasizes this mutual struggle and makes the card recognizable for collectors building their collection around Wolverine, Sabretooth, or the wider X-Men universe.
The illustration shows the two opponents in an action scene. The back contains the card number and additional text accompanying the image. This gives the card both a visual and a narrative function within the set. It is an original base card from 1994, with no limited numbering mentioned.
GMA has graded this specimen an 8.5, designated as Near Mint/Mint+. This grade describes the condition of the card according to GMA's standards. The card is encased in a transparent slab with a grading label, keeping the image visible and the grade preserved with the item.
For collectors, this card is of interest as part of a Flair Marvel Annual set, a collection of 1994 Marvel cards, or a collection revolving around both characters. The item offered comes from a private collection. Please view the product photos for the presentation and visible condition of the slab; the condition of the plastic case is separate from the assigned card grade.
