At the height of the popularity of the 1960s Batman television series, a shonen manga magazine appeared in Japan, publishing a whopping fifty-three chapters featuring The Dark Knight, all written by Jiro Kuwata. These rare Batman stories were long known only to a small audience outside Japan, until award-winning designer Chip Kidd brought them to the attention of a whole new generation of Batman fans in 2008 with his book , Bat-Manga!: The Secret History of Batman in Japan (Pantheon Books).
This Batman figure is based on his appearance in the DC Comics Bat-Manga and is crafted as a highly detailed, 7-inch scale action figure inspired by the DC Multiverse. The design features Ultra Articulation with up to 22 points of articulation, allowing for full range of motion and versatile posing. Accessories include four extra hands, a large Batarang, a Bat-camera, a grappling hook, a GoGo magic staff, and a display base. The figure also comes with a collectible art card.
