This Robin (Dick Grayson) action figure was released in 2023 by McFarlane Toys as part of the DC Multiverse Gold Label series. The figure is based on Dick Grayson in his classic Robin design from DC Rebirth and was originally released as a McFarlane Toys Store exclusive.
Dick Grayson began his life as a member of The Flying Graysons, a family of talented circus acrobats. After his parents were murdered during a performance, Dick was taken in by Bruce Wayne. Batman recognized much of himself in the young Grayson and decided to train him. Under the name Robin, Dick became Batman's first sidekick and one of the most important members of the Bat-Family.
For this DC Rebirth edition, Robin wears his recognizable red, green, and yellow costume with black accents and the classic yellow cape. McFarlane Toys has translated the comic design into a detailed 7-inch action figure that fits well with the other figures in the DC Multiverse series.
The figure features McFarlane's Ultra Articulation with up to 22 moving parts. This allows Robin to be posed in various acrobatic and combat-oriented stances. The set includes three sets of interchangeable hands, totaling six hands, a Batarang, and a display base.
Additionally, a collectible art card is included with an image of the figure on the front and background information on Dick Grayson on the back. The combination of the classic Robin identity, DC Rebirth design, and Gold Label status makes this an interesting addition to any collection centered around Batman, Robin, and the Bat-Family.
