Exposure to Doctor Dedalus's Spyral™ maze slowly drove Lazlo Valentin insane, transforming him into Professor Pyg, recognizable by his pig mask. Pyg's deeds included kidnapping unsuspecting citizens of Gotham City™ and performing bizarre surgical procedures, after which he fitted them with doll-like facial masks.
