Exposed to Doctor Dedalus’s Spyral™ maze, Lazlo Valentin slowly went insane and transformed into Professor Pyg, recognizable by his pig mask. Pyg's actions involved kidnapping unsuspecting citizens of Gotham City™ and performing bizarre surgical procedures, after which he provided them with doll-like facial masks. These victims were thus turned into obedient followers known as the Dollotrons™. As a driven freelancer, Pyg regularly opens new “clinics.” His most recent adversaries include the Teen Titans™, Red Hood™ and the Outlaws™, Nightwing™, and Batman™.
