Character:
This Batman (The Dark Knight) action figure by McFarlane Toys belongs to the DC Multiverse McFarlane Vault Collection. The edition is based on Batman from the film The Dark Knight and falls within the brand's 7-inch figure line. In European product listings, the scale is rounded to 18 cm. A key feature of this Vault release is the fabric cape with wire reinforcement, which allows you to adjust the presentation to match the figure's pose.
In The Dark Knight, Batman attempts to curtail organized crime in Gotham City alongside Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent. Their approach is undermined by the Joker, who throws the city into chaos and forces Batman to face increasingly difficult choices. The film connects the fight against crime with the boundaries Bruce Wayne sets for himself in protecting Gotham.
McFarlane's Ultra Articulation system offers up to 22 moving parts for setting various poses. The posable cape adds a separate element to this: you can let it drape around the figure or spread it out more for a more active setup. A display base is included to display Batman. Additionally, the release contains a collectible art card with artwork on the front and a character biography on the back. The official McFarlane store also mentions a stand for this card.
For collectors of the Batman films, this edition offers a combination of a recognizable film design and an adjustable fabric cape. The figure fits into a collection centered around The Dark Knight, but can also be displayed individually. The Vault Collection designation and product number 18186 help distinguish this specific release from other McFarlane releases of Batman from the same film.
