Character:
This The Joker (Bank Robber) action figure from McFarlane Toys is part of the DC Multiverse McFarlane Vault Collection. The version is based on The Dark Knight and references the bank robbery that marks the Joker's entrance in the film. It is a figure from the 7-inch line, with a size of approximately 18 cm. The Bank Robber version gives this release a distinct place among the various film versions of the character.
In The Dark Knight, the Joker shakes up the existing power dynamics in Gotham City. His confrontations with Batman are not just about crime, but about the choices people make under pressure. The opening scene introduces his calculating approach and sets the stage for the conflict that spreads across the city thereafter. This figure aligns with that specific moment from the film.
The figure features McFarlane's Ultra Articulation system with up to 22 moving parts. An interchangeable head and extra hands provide various options to customize the display. The included display base helps with posing the figure. There is also a collectible art card with an image of the character on the front and a biography on the back. According to the official manufacturer's description, a card stand is also included for this.
For collectors of The Dark Knight, this Joker offers a complement to Batman and other characters from the same film. The choice of the bank robbery makes it suitable for a display based on a specific scene, while the interchangeable parts allow for variety. The Vault Collection packaging distinguishes this re-release from previous McFarlane releases of the Bank Robber Joker.
