Character:
The Mezco One:12 Collective G.I. Joe Snake Eyes Deluxe Edition brings one of the most recognizable characters from G.I. Joe to Mezco's premium 1/12 line. Snake Eyes appears entirely in black, combining his military commando gear with the weapons and techniques associated with his Arashikage ninja training.
Within G.I. Joe, Snake Eyes is the team's mysterious specialist. His identity and past are largely shielded, but his skills as a commando, infiltration specialist, and martial artist make him one of the most important members of the G.I. Joe team. Mezco translates that combination excellently into this Deluxe Edition.
The approximately 17 cm tall figure features over 32 points of articulation and wears a detailed soft-goods outfit with a tactical harness, utility belt, and thigh holster. His equipment can actually carry various included weapons, allowing the figure to be posed in a variety of ways.
An important part of this Deluxe Edition is Timber, the wolf inextricably linked to Snake Eyes. Timber himself features over twenty points of articulation and comes with three interchangeable head sculpts. In addition, the set includes a particularly extensive arsenal, including a ninjatō, falchion, tanto, nunchaku, submachine gun with removable silencer, handgun, butterfly swords, throwing knives, various shuriken, grenades, and multiple effect parts.
Through the combination of the extensive weaponry, soft-goods clothing, high articulation, and the fully poseable Timber, this is a particularly complete version of Snake Eyes. Within Mezco's G.I. Joe One:12 Collective, he also represents a strong rendition of the character's classic ninja-commando appearance.
