Character:
With this One:12 Collective edition of The Joker, Mezco brings one of the most recognizable villains from Batman: The Animated Series to the premium 1/12 format. The figure translates the characteristic design from the animated series into a version featuring fabric clothing, extensive articulation, and a wide array of accessories.
In Batman: The Animated Series, The Joker is Batman's unpredictable arch-nemesis. With his theatrical personality, macabre sense of humor, and penchant for bizarre criminal schemes, this version has become one of the most famous interpretations of the character. Mark Hamill's voice contributed significantly to the iconic status of this Animated Series version.
The approximately 17 cm tall One:12 Collective figure wears The Joker's classic purple suit with a dress shirt, ribbon necktie, trousers, dress shoes, and boutonnière. Mezco includes four interchangeable head sculpts, allowing for the display of various exaggerated and maniacal facial expressions from the animated series. Additionally, the figure features over 28 points of articulation and ten different interchangeable hands.
The accessories also tie closely into the world of The Joker. The set includes, among other things, a cane with a hidden dagger, a TNT bomb, a regular bomb with an interchangeable fuse, a wristwatch with a poison gas effect, playing cards, a cake, a knife, three grenades, and two Joker Fish. A One:12 Collective display base with an adjustable display arm completes the equipment.
The combination of the classic Animated Series design with Mezco's soft-goods construction makes this a special version of The Joker. In particular, the four expressive portraits and the large quantity of recognizable accessories give collectors many opportunities to recreate different scenes and poses from the world of Batman: The Animated Series.
