Mondo gives Donatello a completely new interpretation with this impressive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Donatello 1/6 Scale Action Figure – Regular Edition. This version is part of Mondo's new TMNT: Mondoverse line, in which the Turtles are given a detailed, mature look with realistic textures and a huge amount of equipment. Donatello officially measures 10 inches, approximately 25 cm, and is made of PVC and ABS.
Donatello is the technical mastermind of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Where his brothers often rely on brute force, speed, or leadership, Donnie combines his ninja training with intelligence, engineering, and self-built equipment. Mondo fully incorporates that character into this version, presenting him as a technically equipped ninja who constantly develops his weapons and gadgets.
The Regular Edition features three interchangeable portraits with a neutral, smiling, and intensely angry facial expression. Even the eyes can be adjusted with pupils or completely white ninja eyes. Additionally, there are six pairs of hands, a Power Glove with two interchangeable right hands, goggles, a watch, glasses, a screwdriver, a wrench, and a Turtle Communicator. A special extra is the Work in Progress Metalhead head, a nice reference to Donatello's role as an inventor.
There's no shortage of weaponry either. In addition to his classic Bo Staff, Donatello gets an electric E-Bo Staff with effect parts, a Kyoketsu-Shoge Blade, Kunai Blade, Push Blade, Hand Blade, two enhanced ninja stars, and a grappling hook. A special display stand completes the extensive set.
The combination of the substantial 1/6 scale, the premium sculpt and finish, interchangeable faces, and the exceptionally extensive amount of accessories makes this Regular Edition much more than a standard Donatello figure. Especially for collectors who want to build a distinct and modern TMNT display, this Mondo version forms an impressive centerpiece.
