NECA brings Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo together in this special Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze 4-Pack. The set is based on the second live-action TMNT film and was released as a NECA Store Exclusive in a large collector's box with a design inspired by the classic VHS release of the film.
In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, the four brothers once again face off against the Foot Clan and Shredder. As the origin of the mutagen that created the Turtles is further investigated, Shredder attempts to use the ooze himself to create new mutants. The 1991 film gave the Turtles a slightly more colorful look and introduced, among others, Tokka and Rahzar.
For this release, NECA has rendered all four Turtles in their Secret of the Ooze appearance. Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo are each approximately 18 cm tall and feature extensive articulation, movie-accurate sculpting, and individual weapons.
The box contains Leonardo's katanas, Raphael's sais, Donatello's bo staff, and Michelangelo's nunchaku, complemented by interchangeable hands and a large amount of film-specific accessories. These include pizza slices, a half-eaten pizza, a pizza box, a fire extinguisher, ooze canisters, and the famous combat cold cuts.
For collectors, this specific edition is particularly interesting. The large VHS-style 4-pack was offered directly through the NECA Store for a limited time in 2022. The Turtles were later released in individual 2-packs, but this complete four-Turtle version with the special VHS-inspired collector's packaging remained exclusive to this release.
