Character:
Super7 brings Zartan to the G.I. Joe ULTIMATES! collection with this special Jungle Trap version. The 7-inch action figure was released as an SDCC 2024 Exclusive and is directly inspired by Zartan's appearance in the classic G.I. Joe animated series.
In the episode “Jungle Trap,” Zartan once again uses his talent for disguise as he poses as a snake charmer. As leader of the Dreadnoks and a specialist in infiltration and deception, Zartan is among Cobra’s most unpredictable allies.
Super7 has used this striking appearance as the basis for the figure. Zartan wears a removable fabric robe and features the extensive articulation and detailed finish characteristic of the ULTIMATES! line.
A special detail is the UV-reactive material used for his skin. When exposed to sunlight, Zartan’s skin color changes to purple. This refers to Zartan's well-known color-changing gimmick.
The set includes three interchangeable heads and seven different hands. In addition, Zartan comes with his boot knife, small blaster, Mind Control Crown, flute, and a camera snake hidden in a basket. This allows for recreating various scenes and disguises from the animated series.
With the combination of the SDCC version, extensive accessories, soft-goods clothing, and color-changing skin, Jungle Trap Zartan clearly distinguishes itself from the regular ULTIMATES! version of the character.
