With the press of a button, Matt Trakker's Thunderhawk transforms from a sports car into a jet. For the San Diego Comic-Con 2026 Hologram Edition, The Loyal Subjects have finished the bodywork in translucent blue. Fine grid lines run across the hood and the rest of the vehicle. In the daylight, you can see the contours of the car and parts of the interior; in the dark, the lines glow neon green.
The transformation revolves around the gull-wing doors. In driving mode, they close flush with the bodywork. Once they open, they form the wings for Airstrike Mode and the jet engines are revealed. The wheels can roll and there is room for two M.A.S.K. agents in the cockpit. One driver is included with this set: Matt Trakker, finished in the same transparent blue as his vehicle.
Matt is approximately 7 cm tall and has two interchangeable, translucent SPECTRUM masks. The jet engines come with separate blue flame effects. Place them on the boosters, and the Thunderhawk appears to take off. Remove them and close the doors, and the low-slung sports car form is revealed.
For collectors who already have the regular Thunderhawk, the difference lies in how the same transformation is displayed. Thanks to the transparent parts, you can also see more of the construction in driving mode. The retro box was specially designed for the convention edition and features the hologram version, so the variant remains recognizable even in a closed collection.
