The Threezero DLX Iron Spider brings Peter Parker in his armor designed by Tony Stark to a 1/12 scale action figure. This version from Marvel Studios: The Infinity Saga is approximately 16.5 cm tall and has a metallic red-blue-gold finish. The design combines the recognizable Spider-Man silhouette with the mechanical back arms that give the Iron Spider suit its own distinctive look.
In Avengers: Infinity War, Peter gets access to this advanced suit when he becomes involved in the battle against Thanos. Stark's nanotechnology complements his own skills. This figure is based on that film appearance and therefore fits a collection centered around Spider-Man, the Avengers, or the various technological designs within the Infinity Saga.
Threezero uses a frame made of die-cast zinc alloy and technical plastic for this DLX version. According to the manufacturer, the figure has 68 points of articulation and comes with a set of movable pincers. Five pairs of interchangeable hands offer possibilities for fists, relaxed poses, web-shooting, web-swinging, and action poses. With four pairs of interchangeable eyes, you can also adjust the expression of the mask. The six web accessories come in various lengths and shapes, including an open web and a part for a swinging pose. A DLX action stand supports the presentation.
For collectors, the distinction lies in the combination of the compact size, the metal construction, and the extensive possibilities to change the pose. The back arms provide extra space to build a scene, while the hands, eyes, and web parts can emphasize different moments.
