Character:
Toy Biz brought the Green Goblin to the Marvel Legends Series 13 in 2006, better known as the Onslaught Series. In addition to the regular masked version, this Unmasked Variant was released, featuring Norman Osborn without his familiar Goblin mask.
Norman Osborn is one of Spider-Man's most important adversaries. As the Green Goblin, he combines technological weapons and his signature Goblin Glider with superhuman strength and a personal obsession with Peter Parker. Furthermore, his role in the death of Gwen Stacy made him responsible for one of the most defining events in Spider-Man's history.
The Unmasked Variant shows Osborn in the classic purple and green Green Goblin costume, but with his face fully visible. This immediately distinguishes this version from the regular Green Goblin in the same Onslaught Series.
As is characteristic of the Toy Biz Marvel Legends era, the figure is extensively articulated, with approximately 34 points of movement. The Green Goblin comes with his Goblin Glider, a removable satchel, and a display/diorama element.
The packaging also includes a comic, trading card, and the right leg component used to assemble the Onslaught Build-A-Figure from Series 13. For collectors of the original Toy Biz Marvel Legends line, the combination of the variant, original packaging, and complete BAF component is particularly important for the collector's value.
